Constructed of silver with black enamels, the obverse consisting of a black enameled disc, bearing a silvered date of “1925” topped by oak leaves and a Stahlhelm insignia, the reverse with a crimped barrel hinge and banjo-style pinback meeting a round wire catch, bearing an etched membership code and date of “1. 4. 25.”, with a raised silver content number of “925”, maker marked with the logo of Der Stahlhof, Magdeburg, measuring 30.62 mm in diameter, weighing 13.0 grams, with some oxidation and flecking of enamels evident, in very fine condition.
