Germany, Der Stahlhelm. An Unusual 1930 Stahlhelm Membership Badge, Boutonniere Style, by Hermann Aurich

(Der Stahlhelm Diensteintrittsabzeichen 1930). Constructed of partially-blackened aluminum, the obverse consisting of a black enameled disc, bearing a silvered date of “1930” topped by oak leaves and a raised Stahlhelm insignia, the reverse with a protruding boutonniere-style attachment, maker marked “H. AURICH, DRESDEN”, measuring 30.33 mm in diameter, weighing 4.3 grams, an unusual example of a Stahlhelm commemorative service badge in extremely fine condition.
