(Der Stahlhelm Diensteintrittsabzeichen 1927). Constructed of silvered bronze with black enamels, the obverse consisting of a black enameled disc, bearing a silvered date of “1927” topped by oak leaves and a raised Stahlhelm insignia, the reverse with a crimped barrel hinge and banjo-style pinback meeting a flat wire catch, bearing an etched membership code, maker marked with the logo of Der Stahlhof, Magdeburg, measuring 30.21 mm in diameter, weighing 10.6 grams, with some scratching evident to the enamel, in near extremely fine condition.
