Constructed of silver with black enamels, the obverse consisting of a black enameled disc, bearing a silvered date of “1931” topped by oak leaves and a raised Stahlhelm insignia, the reverse with a crimped barrel hinge and banjo-style pinback meeting a round wire catch, bearing an etched membership code and date of “4. 10. 34.”, stamped with a silver content number of “935”, maker marked with the logo of Der Stahlhof, Magdeburg, measuring 30.70 mm in diameter, weighing 12.6 grams, with some scratching evident to the enamel, in near extremely fine condition.
