(Der Stahlhelm Diensteintrittsabzeichen 1921). Constructed of silvered bronze with black enamels, the obverse consisting of a black enameled disc, bearing a silvered date of “1921” topped by oak leaves and a raised Stahlhelm insignia, the reverse with a crimped barrel hinge and banjo-style pinback meeting a flat wire catch, bearing an engraved membership code and date of “21. 6. 21.”, maker marked with the logo of Der Stahlhof, Magdeburg, measuring 30.17 mm in diameter, weighing 11.0 grams, with minor scratching visible to the enamel and some oxidation to the metal, in near extremely fine condition.
