A medal bar for First World War and Civil Service featuring five decorations, including a 1914 Iron Cross II Class, constructed of iron and silver, on loop for suspension with its period original ribbon, consisting of a Cross Pattée with a blackened magnetic iron core within a ribbed silver frame, the obverse with a central initial “W”, the six o’clock arm with a reinstitution date of “1914”, the twelve o’clock arm with a royal crown, the reverse with three central oak leaves, the six o’clock arm with an initial institution date of “1813”, the twelve o’clock arm with initials “FW” topped by a royal crown, without visible marks, measuring 41.78 mm (w) x 45.90 mm (h); an Honour Cross of the World War 1914/1918, constructed of bronzed magnetic metal, on loop for suspension with its period original ribbon, consisting of a Cross Pattée with crossed swords piercing the centrepiece, the obverse bearing central wreathed dates “1914-1918”, the reverse marked with the logo of an unidentified manufacturer, measuring 38.19 mm (w) x 43.46 mm (h); a Prussian Long Service Decoration, III Class for 9 Years, constructed of silvered neusilber, on loop for suspension with its period original ribbon, the obverse bearing a central raised crown, circumscribed by an inscription of “TREUE DIENSTE BEI DER FAHNE” (“FAITHFUL SERVICE TO THE FLAG”), the reverse bearing a raised number “9” in Roman numerals, unmarked, measuring 30.02 mm in diameter; a Civil Service 25-Year Faithful Service Cross, constructed of silvered bronze, on loop for suspension with its period original ribbon, consisting of a Cross Pattée with pebbled arms joined through the quadrants by a circular oak leaf wreath, the obverse bearing a central black swastika, the reverse bearing a central raised inscription of “FÜR TREUE DIENSTE” (“FOR FAITHFUL SERVICE”), unmarked, measuring 41.02 mm (w) x 45.78 mm (h), and; a Prussian War Commemorative Cross for 1914-1918, constructed of silvered bronze with multi-coloured enamels, on loop for suspension with its period original ribbon, consisting of a Cross Pattée with white enameled arms highlighted with black and silver borders and with crossed swords piercing the centrepiece, the obverse bearing a central white enameled disc overlaid by a Prussian imperial eagle, within a ring of black enamel bearing a gilt inscription of “PREUSSENS TAPFEREN KRIEGERN” (“PRUSSIA’S BRAVE WARRIORS”) joined together by oak leaf branches, the reverse three and nine o’clock arms bearing a silvered inscription of “WELTKRIEG” (“WORLD WAR”) while the six and twelve o’clock arms bearing silvered oak leaves, with a central white enameled medallion bearing gilt dates “1914-1918”, within a ring of black enamel bearing a gilt inscription of “PREUSSISCHES KRIEGSERINNERUNGSKREUZ (“PRUSSIAN WAR COMMEMORATIVE CROSS”), unmarked, measuring 38.36 mm (w) x 45.14 mm (h); all suspended from 150 mm-long zink bar with a red wool reverse liner and horizontal pinback, unmarked, in extremely fine condition; accompanied by a matching ribbon bar, set on a 75 mm-long zink bar with a field-grey wool reverse liner and horizontal pinback, unmarked, in extremely fine condition.
