Germany, Weimar. A I Class Cross of Honour of the Baden Warrior’s League with 50th Anniversary Badge

(Ehrenkreuz 1.Klasse des Badischen Kriegerbundes mit Jubiläumsschild 50). Constructed of gilded bronze with multi-coloured enamels, vertical pinback, consisting of a Cross Pattée with white enameled arms, with a central medallion depicting a griffin clutching a shield with the number “50”, circumscribed by blue enameled ring with gilt inscription “BADISCHER KRIEGERBUND” (“BADEN WARRIOR LEAGUE”), maker marked on the reverse “B.H. Mayer, Pforzheim”, measuring 45 mm (w) x 46 mm (h), in very fine condition.
