A silver medal, the obverse presenting the right-facing bust of Carl Eduard, circumscribed by the inscription CARL EDUARD HERZOG VON SACHSEN COBURG UND GOTHA, the reverse presents the coat of arms bearing the date 19 July 1930, surrounded by the inscription ZUR ERINNERUNG AN D. ÜBERNAHME D REGIERUNG AM 19.7.1905/19.7.1930, measuring 35.08 mm in diameter, on loop for suspension from period original ribbon, and in very fine condition.
