Constructed of silver, the obverse with raised leftward facing profiles of the airship’s designer, builder, and leader, circumscribed by names and titles, the reverse with a world map circumscribed by inscription of “I. WELTFAHRT DES LUFTSCHIFF GRAF ZEPPELIN, 1929” (“FIRST WORLD TRIP OF THE AIRSHIP GRAF ZEPPELIN, 1929”, maker marked on the edge “PREUSS. STAATSMÜNZE” for “PRUSSIAN STATE MINT”, with a silver purity number of “.900”, measuring 36.04 mm in diameter, weighing 25.0, in near extremely fine condition.
