A pair of medals, including a Prussian War Merit Medal, II Class, constructed of silver, on loop for suspension from its period original trifold ribbon, the obverse bearing a central wreathed inscription of “KRIEGS-VERDIENST” (“WAR MERIT”), the reverse bearing a raised monogram of Kaiser Wilhelm I, unmarked, measuring 39.12 mm in diameter, weighing 25.5 grams (inclusive of ribbon), in very fine condition, and; a Bavarian King Ludwig Cross, constructed of patinated bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original bow tie ribbon, consisting of an elongated Cross Pattée, the obverse bearing a central leftward-facing profile of King Ludwig III, the reverse bearing a central raised date of “7. 1. 1916”, unmarked, measuring 39.82 mm (w) x 45.74 mm (h), weighing 23.6 grams (inclusive of ribbon), in near extremely fine condition.
