Mecklenburg-Schwerin, Grand Duchy. A Friedrich Franz-Alexandra Cross

(Friedrich-Franz-Alexandra-Kreuz). Instituted on 15 November 1912. Constructed of silver, consisting of a Rupert Cross, the obverse with raised leftward-facing profiles of Friedrich Franz IV and Alexandra, the reverse with a raised central royal monogram and inscription of FÜR WERKE DER NÄCHSTEN LIEBE 15. NOV. 1912 (FOR WORKS OF BROTHERLY LOVE, 15 NOVEMBER 1912), unmarked, measuring 44.21 mm (w) x 43.99 mm (h), on loop for suspension from its period correct replacement ribbon, in better than very fine condition.
