Multi-piece construction, in bronze gilt with white enamels, maker marked "BACKRUCK" and hallmarked on the pin, measuring 45.7 mm (w) x 46 mm (h), vertical pinback, intact enamels, very light contact, near extremely fine. In its hardshelled case of issue, red pebbled exterior, inside lid in white cloth and padded, off-white felt medal bed, measuring 71.8 mm (w) x 71.8 mm (h) x 25 mm (d), exhibiting soiling and wear on the exterior, discolouration in the medal bed, case fine.
