George VI, uncrowned with IND: IMP. In silver, un-named, measuring 36 mm in diameter, dual ferns suspension, contact marks, edge nicks, red felt residue evident on the reverse of the original ribbon from previous board mounting, better than very fine.

Footnote: The New Zealand War Service Medal was issued un-named, to all members of the New Zealand forces who completed one month full-time or six months part-time service between September 1939 and September 1945, provided the applicant carried out the prescribed training or duties. This included Home Guard service and Naval Auxiliary Patrol service.
