(Allgemeines Sturmabzeichen). Constructed of silvered zink, the obverse consisting of an oval oak leaf wreath, around a central Heer-style German national eagle clutching a mobile swastika, above a crossed bayonet and stick grenade, the reverse with a block hinge and vertical pinback meeting a round wire catch, unmarked, measuring 42.22 mm (w) x 52.94 mm (h), weighing 14.0 grams, with total loss of silver finish evident, in fair condition.
