A medal bar for First World War non-combatant services, featuring eight decorations, including a Cross for Voluntary War Assistance, constructed of zink, on loop for suspension with its period original ribbon, consisting of a Maltese Cross with pebbled arms, the obverse bearing a central raised monogram of Kaiser Wilhelm II, the reverse bearing a central raised inscription of “FÜR KRIEGS-HILFSDIENST” (“FOR WAR ASSISTANCE”), unmarked, measuring 40.97 mm (w) x 41.07 mm (h);a Landeswehr Long Service Medal, II Class, constructed of copper, on loop for suspension with its period original ribbon, unmarked, measuring 24.78 mm in diameter; a Medal of the Order of the Red Eagle, constructed of silver, on loop for suspension with its period original ribbon, the obverse bearing a raised depiction of the Order, the reverse bearing a raised monogram, unmarked, measuring 24.70 mm in diameter; a Baden Silver Merit Medal, constructed of silver, on loop for suspension with its period original ribbon, the obverse ebarign a raised and leftward-facing profile of Grand Duke Friedrich, circumscribed by name and title, the reverse bearing a wreathed inscription of “FÜR VERDIENST” (“FOR MERIT”), unmarked, measuring 40.60 mm in diameter; an Oldenburg House and Merit Order, II Class Honour Cross, constructed of magnetic metal, on loop for suspension with its period original ribbon, consisting of a Cross Pattée, the obverse bearing a central raised monogram of Peter Friedrich Ludwig, circumscribed by an inscription of “EIN GOTT, EIN RECHT, EINE WAHRHEIT” (“ONE GOD, ONE RIGHTEOUSNESS, ONE TRUTH”), the reverse bearing a central raised coat of arms, unmarked, measuring 34.98 mm (w) x 41.50 mm (h); an Austrian Military Merit Cross, III Class, constructed of silver with red enamels, on loop for suspension with its period original ribbon, consisting of a Ruppert Cross with red enameled arms, the obverse bearing a central raised monogram of Emperor Franz Joseph, circumscribed by an inscription of “VIRIBUS UNITIS” (“WITH UNTIED FORCES”), the reverse bearing a central date of “1849”, without visible marks, measuring 35.76 mm (w) x 54.04 mm (h) (inclusive of crown suspension); an Austrian Red Cross Honour Decoration, constructed of gilded zink with multi-coloured enamels, on loop for suspension with its period original ribbon, unmarked, measuring 36.62 mm (w) x 48.90 mm (h), and; a Bulgarian Order of Civil Merit, IV Class with Crown, constructed of silver, on loop for suspension with its period original ribbon, unmarked, measuring 45.10 mm (w) x 67.00 mm (h) (inclusive of crown suspension); all suspended from a 160 mm-long non-magnetic metal bar with a horizontal pinback and red wool reverse liner, with some chipping visible to the enameled elements, in overall near extremely fine condition.
