Germany, Third Reich. A Lot of Honour Crosses of the German Mother, All Grades

(Ehrenkreuze der Deutschen Mutter). A lot of three Honour Crosses of the German Mother, in Bronze, Silver, and Gold Grades, each constructed of bronze with multi-coloured enamels and applicable finishes, on loops for suspension from period original ribbons, all consisting of Latin Crosses with arms joined through the quadrants by stylized sun rays, the obverse of each with blue and white enameled arms, with central white enameled discs overlaid by black swastikas, circumscribed by raised inscriptions of “DER DEUTSCHEN MUTTER” (“TO THE GERMAN MOTHER”), the reverse of all bearing etched institution dates of “16. DEZEMBER 1938” and signatures of the Führer, all unmarked and measuring 36 mm (w) x 46 mm (h), with minor flecking of enamels and loss of finish evident, a complete set in overall extremely fine condition.
