(Luftwaffe Gürtelschnalle für Generale). Constructed of gilded and silvered aluminum, the obverse consisting of an oval oak leaf wreath, bearing a central raised Luftwaffe eagle clutching a mobile swastika, superimposed over a pebbled background, the reverse with a clip and swivel loop, maker marked with the logo of F.W. Assmann & Söhne, Lüdenscheid, measuring 56 mm (w) x 50 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.
