(Reichsparteitag 1929 Fotoalbum). A fascinating commemorative photo album documenting the 1929 Nuremberg Rally held between 1-4 August, constructed of a card stock binding with a multi-coloured canvas exterior liner, the spine perforated with four holes reinforced with brown-painted magnetic metal grommets through which is looped a brown drawstring to securely maintain the album’s structure, the interior content consisting of 19 black card stock pages divided by wax paper liners to protected the image, pasted with 31 private and period mass-produced images of the numerous events of the rally, including many shots of key figures in the rising NSDAP, including AH, Hermann Göring, Franz Ritter von Epp, with scenes of speeches, parade reviews, fireworks displays, and scenic shots of the city of Nuremberg, all featuring detailed handwritten inscriptions describing the scenes and interspersed with pasted depictions of rally badges and NSDAP flags, measuring 302 mm (w) x 195 mm (h), some photos have partially detached from the pages and minor, age-appropriate material fatigue is evident, a superb look at a pre-Third Reich Nuremberg rally in extremely fine condition.
