Iraq, Republic. An Army Golden Jubilee Medal 1921-1971

(wisam alyubil aldhahabiu liljaysh aleiraqii / وسام اليوبيل الذهبي للجيش العراقي). Instituted in 1971. In silvered bronze, maker marked "HUGUENIN" and marked "SWISS MADE" on the reverse, measuring 43.5 mm (w) x 56 mm (h), scattered silvering wear overall, the bead at the lower left on the obverse having lost its silvering and exposes its bronze base, original ribbon, near extremely fine.
