OKTOBER 1938”, circumscribed by an inscription of “EIN VOLK, EIN REICH, EIN FÜHRER” (“ONE PEOPLE, ONE NATION, ONE LEADER”), unmarked, measuring 32.17 mm in diameter, weighing 18.9 grams (inclusive of ribbon and bar), accompanied by a matching ribbon bar, measuring 15 mm in width and with a clip-on attachment, both secreted within a period original case, constructed of a light wooden frame with a faux maroon leather liner, the lid bearing a gilt German national eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, the interior with a white rayon lid liner and intact hinge cover, with a slotted maroon felt medal bed, closing a with a functional metal spring catch with exterior stud release, unmarked, measuring 48 mm (w) x 100 mm (l) x 20 mm (h), with minor material fatigue evident to the case, in overall near extremely fine condition.
