(Abzeichen). A pair of badges, including a Black Grade Service Badge, constructed of blackened bronze, the obverse consisting of an oval laurel leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, around a central raised Stahlhelm on top of crossed swords on a pebbled field, the reverse with a crimped barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a round wire catch, unmarked, measuring 39.37 mm (w) x 44.45 mm (h), weighing 9.2 grams, in extremely fine condition, and; an Honour Badge for Midwives, constructed of constructed of silver, the obverse consisting of a circular laurel leaf topped by a crown, overlaid by a stylized banner bearing an engraved inscription of “TREUE DIENSTE” (“FAITHFUL SERVICE”), set above a raised cherub, the reverse with four visible rivets securing the obverse features in place, with a barrel hinge and horizontal pinback meeting a round wire catch, unmarked, measuring 39.48 mm in diameter, weighing 27.0 grams, in extremely fine condition.
