A well-preserved special edition of “Hermann Göring: Werk und Mensch” by Erich Gritzbach, constructed of a card stock binding, the exterior featuring a faux dark blue leather liner, thecover bearing a gilded and embossed title set within a gilded border, the spine bearing gilt embossed logos of organizations in which Göring held roles or patronage (NSDAP, Luftwaffe, State of Prussia, and German Hunting Association), the interior featuring 345 paginated pages consisting of the complete professional biography of Göring in Fraktur script, interspersed with an array of black-and-white images of Göring and key events from his life, the interior of the cover retaining the bookplate of a previous owner, a high-quality special edition published in 1938, measuring 145 mm (w) x 218 mm (h), with minor discolouration and soiling evident, in near extremely fine condition.
