Germany, Heer. A Gebirgsjäger-Regiment 100 Commemorative Medal

(Gerbigsjäger-Regiment 100 Erinnerungsmedaille). Constructed of bronze, with an integral suspension loop formerly accommodating a leather strap, the obverse bearing a central raised edelweiss, circumscribed by an inscription of “GEB. JÄG. RGT. 100”, the reverse bearing raised inscriptions featuring seven key theatres of combat in which Gebirgsjäger-Regiment 100 saw action, unmarked, measuring 46 mm (w) x 48 mm (h) when oriented in intended diamond placement, in extremely fine condition.
