Constructed of gilded bronze with multi-coloured enamels, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, consisting of a Geneva Cross with white enameled arms, the obverse bearing a central black enameled eagle with details highlighted in gilt, in turn overlaid by a central Red Cross insignia, unmarked, measuring 40.25 mm (w) x 44.46 mm (h), weighing 14.4 grams, with some flecking of enamels evident, in near extremely fine condition.
