Constructed of bronze with multi-coloured enamels, the obverse consisting of a disc in the form of a red, white, and black enameled Imperial tricolour, overlaid by a bronze slouch hat and eagle grappling with a dragon, circumscribed by an inscription of “VEREIN EHEM. KOLONIAL-TRUPPEN U. -DEUTSCHER FÜR LÜNEBURG UELZEN U. UMG”, the reverse with a horizontal pinback, unmarked, measuring 28 mm in diameter, in extremely fine condition.
