(Miniaturkette). A First World War veteran’s miniature medal chain, featuring six decorations constructed of bronze with enamels and with black, gilt, and silver finishing where applicable, including a 1914 Iron Cross II Class, a Friedrich August Cross II Class, a Lippe War Merit Cross, a Schaumburg-Lippe Faithful Service Cross, a Hamburg Hanseatic Cross, and an Honour Cross of the World War 1914/1918, suspended from a 115 mm-long gilded bronze chain completing in a needle at one end and in a button at the opposite end, the latter maker marked “GODET, BERLIN”, a fine-quality example in extremely fine condition.
