A pair of Wehrmacht uniform insignia, including a rare chaplain’s visor cap insignia, constructed of a padded dark green wool backer, the obverse bearing a central machine-embroidered aluminum wire tricolour cockade set within a gold bullion wire oak leaf wreath, topped by a Latin Cross, the reverse retaining an intact black rayon liner, unmarked, measuring 63 mm (w) x 60 mm (h), in extremely fine condition, and; a Kriegsmarine Officer’s cap eagle, constructed of a dark blue wool backer, the obverse bearing a hand-embroidered gold bullion wire Wehrmacht eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, unmarked, measuring 70 mm (w) x 32 mm (h), with some material fatigue evident, in uniform-removed and very fine condition.
