Germany, Heer. A Rare Tropical Panzer Engineer Oberfeldwebel’s Shoulder Strap

(Heer Tropen Schulterklappen für Oberfeldwebel der Panzertruppe). A rare Heer tropical Panzer Engineer (Mechanic) Oberfeldwebel’s shoulder strap, constructed of light olive-drab cotton twill with a field-grey wool underlay, trimmed with rose-pink piping, and pinned with two zink rank pips flanked an Engineer cypher, the reverse with an integral strap with a reinforced buttonhole, unmarked, measuring 42 mm (w) x 115 mm (l), with loss of finish evident to the insignia, in near extremely fine condition.
