1. Silver Grade Medal: two-piece construction, in silver with red, white and green enamels, hallmarked with a "3" to the left of a dog's head (.800 silver), and "A" (Vienna) and maker marked "VM" (Vincent Mayer of Vienna) on the obverse of the integral suspension, measuring 36.5 mm (w) x 49.5 mm (h) inclusive of its integral suspension, intact enamels, original ribbon.

2. Bronze Grade Medal: two-piece construction, in bronze gilt with red and white enamels, unmarked, measuring 35.5 mm (w) x 48 mm (h) inclusive of its integral suspension, repair evident in the white enamels on the red cross shield, original triangular ribbon with hook and eye.
