Two-piece construction, in silvered bronze with red, white and blue enamels, inscribed "Red Cross Society of China" in Chinese on the reverse, measuring 44.3 mm (w) x 47.3 mm (h) inclusive of its integral suspension, intact enamels, scattered silvering evident on the arms of the cross, original ribbon with hook and eye, near extremely fine.

Footnote: During the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, the Red Cross Society of China designed and produced various chapters, generally following the basic shape and decoration of the early membership chapters of the Red Cross Society of China.
