Germany, HJ. An Enlisted Personnel Belt Buckle, by Steinhauer & Lück

(HJ Gürtelschnalle). Constructed of magnetic metal, the obverse bearing a central raised German national eagle clutching an HJ insignia, within a ribbed ring bearing an inscription of “BLUT UND EHRE” (“BLOOD AND HONOUR”), the reverse with a loop and swivel attachment claws, maker marked with the logo of Steinhauer & Lück, Lüdenscheid, with a Reichszeugmeisterei (RZM) logo and maker code “M4/49” for the same manufacturer, measuring 64 mm (w) x 49 mm (h), with oxidation throughout, in very fine condition.
