Germany, SS. An Identity Card to SS-Mann Otto Matthews

Constructed of card stock with black ink, the obverse bearing a typewritten name of “OTTO MATHEWS”, who was born on 10 June 1915 and held the rank of SS-Mann with identity number “374359”, rivets with a certified studio portrait of Mathews, the reverse stamped with an issue date of “15. OKT. 1940”, with a facsimile signature of Reichsführer-SS Heinrich Himmler and a handwritten signature of an unconfirmed SS-Obersturmbannführer, pasted with a membership stamp for the first quarter of 1941, measuring 90 mm (w) x 120 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.
