A neck badge in hollow silver, consisting of an eight armed star with scaled surfaces, with a gilt diamond shaped laurel in each quadrant, obverse centre presenting a silver gilt Thai Crown on blue enamelled background and red enamelled surround, centre reverse blue enamel central medallion with Thai script and stylized red enamelled surround, suspension consisting of a elongated and ornate Thai crown in hollow silver gilt, a thin replacement loop of metal wire goes through the tip of the crown, measuring 53.4mm (w) x 87.4mm (h – inclusive of crown suspension), weighs 39.3 grams, enamels intact, light wear to silver gilt, replacement ring as mentioned above, in overall extremely fine condition.

The Order of the Crown of Thailand is awarded to those who are not qualified for the Order of the White Elephant. The Order may be awarded to both men (Knight) and women (Dame), with a bow ribbon distinguishing the Dame awards.
