Constructed of black wool with a buckram core, the obverse bearing a divisional insignia consisting of a machine-embroidered silver-grey Cross Pattée with crossed swords piercing the centrepiece, unmarked, measuring 40 mm (w) x 55 mm (l), in near extremely fine condition.
