(Erinnerungsmedaille für die spanischen Freiwilligen im Kampf gegen den Bolschewismus). Constructed of bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon with clasp and horizontal pinback, the obverse bearing a raised sword overlaid by shields bearing Heer and Falange insignia, above a swastika flanked by laurel branches, and topped by a Stahlhehlm, the reverse bearing an inscription of “DIVISIÓN ESPAÑOLA DE VOLUNTARIOS EN RUSIA” (“DIVISION OF SPANISH VOLUNTEERS IN RUSSIA”), above an Iron Cross topped by laurel branches, unmarked, measuring 32.68 mm in diameter, weighing 17.7 grams (inclusive of ribbon and clasp), a quintessential example of a replacement decoration manufactured in Spain for Blue Division veterans c. 1965, in near extremely fine condition.
