Germany, Luftwaffe. A Set of Generaloberst Shoulder Boards

(Luftwaffe Schulterklappen für Generaloberst). A well-preserved and matching set of Luftwaffe Generaloberst shoulder boards, each constructed of card stock reinforced light grey wool twill, topped by two bands of gold bullion wire piping interwoven around a single band of braided silvered aluminum wire piping, and pinned with three aluminum rank pips, the reverse of each with an integrated grey wool strap perforated with a reinforced buttonhole, both unmarked and measuring 45 mm (w) x 115 mm (l), with minor wear evident to the piping, in near extremely fine condition.
