(Etui für Verdienstorden vom Heiligen Michael, IV Klasse mit Krone). Constructed of a light wooden frame with a faux black leather exterior liner, the lid bearing an embossed gilt inscription of “ST. MICHAELS-ORDEN 4. CLASSE M. D. K.”, within a gilt border, the interior with a padded satin lid liner bearing a partially-legible maker’s mark of “JACOB LESER, STRAUBING”, with a slotted maroon velvet medal bed, opening with a functional spring catch with exterior stud release and a functional metal hinge, measuring 58 mm (w) x 110 mm (l) x 25 mm (h), with minor signs of material fatigue, in near extremely fine condition.
