Germany, SS. A Signed Postcard of SS-Untersturmführer Gerardus Mooyman, Dutch Volunteer and Knight’s Cross Recipient

A signed postcard featuring a studio portrait of SS-Untersturmführer Gerardus Mooyman, a Dutch volunteer of SS-Freiwilligen-Legion Nederland and recipient of the Knight’s Cross of the Iron Cross (20 February 1943), notably the first non-German recipient of the award, with Mooyman depicted in the uniform of a Rottenführer, the lower half of the image overlaid by his handwritten signature in blue ink, the reverse unused and bearing a Hoffmann studio mark, measuring 90 mm (w) x 140 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.
