Germany, HJ. A Late-War Enlisted Personnel Belt Buckle, by Paul Cramer & Co.

(HJ Gürtelschnalle). Constructed of silvered zink, the obverse bearing a central raised German national eagle clutching an HJ insignia, within a ribbed ring bearing an inscription of “BLUT UND EHRE” (“BLOOD AND HONOUR”), the reverse with a loop and swivel attachment prongs, marked with a Reichszeugmeisterei (RZM) logo and maker code “M4/44” for Paul Cramer & Co., Lüdenscheid, measuring 64 mm (w) x 48 mm (h), with loss of silver finish evident throughout, in very fine condition.
