MATTHEWS" on the reverse, measuring 39 mm (w) x 42.7 mm (h) inclusive of its integral ring suspension, intact enamels, original ribbon with two clasps, suspended from a hanger inscribed "PROFICIENCY IN RED CROSS FIRST AID" with pinback, maker marked "J.R. GAUNT LONDON" and coded "Rd. No. 629266" on the reverse of the hanger, extremely fine.
