(Waffen-SS Schulterklappe für Obersturmbannführer der LSSAH). A 1st SS Panzer Division Leibstandarte AH (LSSAH) Obersturmbannführer shoulder board which appears to be converted from a colour-matching Heer-issued board, constructed of rose-pink wool with a card stock core and absent the typical black wool underlay, topped by four bands of interwoven silver aluminum wire piping, and pinned with a silvered zink rank pip and gilded LSSAH cypher, unmarked, measuring 35 mm (w) x 105 mm (h), with moderate soiling and material fatigue evident, in field-worn and very fine condition.
