(Abzeichen und Insignien). A mixed lot of 19 badges and insignia, including:

1. A Heer Officer’s summer tunic breast eagle, constructed of cupal, the reverse with a block hinge and horizontal pinback meeting a round wire catch, with a stabilizing pin emanating from the reverse of the wreath, unmarked, measuring 94 mm (w) x 35 mm (h), in very fine condition.

2. A Heer pith helmet insignia, constructed of zink, the obverse bearing a raised and silvered Heer-style German national eagle on a black background, the reverse with all three attachment prongs intact, unmarked, measuring 35 mm (w) x 42 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.

3. A Luftwaffe Marksmanship Lanyard insignia, constructed of aluminum, the reverse retaining all four attachment prongs, unmarked, measuring 42 mm (w) x 52 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.

4. A Kriegsmarine cap eagle, constructed of gilded magnetic metal, unmarked, measuring 50 mm (w) x 21 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.

5. A DRL Sports Badge, Bronze Grade, constructed of bronzed magnetic metal, the obverse consisting of an oval oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon overlaid by a mobile swastika, around central stylized initials “DRL”, the reverse with a barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a round wire catch, maker marked “WERNSTEIN, JENA”, measuring 38.46 mm (w) x 48.24 mm (h), weighing 16.0 grams, in extremely fine condition.

6. An NS-Frauenschaft Orts-level Leader’s badge, constructed of bronze with multi-coloured enamels, horizontal pinback, the reverse marked with a Reichszeugmeisterei (RZM) logo, measuring 30 mm (w) x 32 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.

7. A Reich Labour Service of Female Youth (RADwJ) Arbeitsmaid badge, constructed of zink, horizontal pinback, unmarked, measuring 45 mm in diameter, in extremely fine condition.

8. An RADwJ volunteer service badge, constructed of magnetic metal, horizontal pinback, unmarked, measuring 42 mm (w) x 40 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.

9. A Reichsarbeitdienst (Reich Labour Service/RAD) cap badge, constructed of zink, horizontal pinback, unmarked, measuring 38 mm (w) x 42 mm (h), in near extremely fine condition.

10. A 1935 Day of German Seafaring badge, constructed of aluminum, horizontal pinback, the reverse maker marked “J DINNEBIER NACHF., LÜDENSCHEID”, measuring 41 mm (w) x 47 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.

11. A 1935 Nuremberg Rally badge, constructed of chromed non-magnetic metal, horizontal pinback, the reverse maker marked “LAUER, NÜRNBERG”, measuring 40 mm in diameter, with a replacement pinback in addition to the addition of chrome, in fair condition.

12. A Deutsche Arbeitsfront (German Labour Front/DAF) membership pin, constructed of aluminum, the reverse marked with an RZM logo and maker code “M1/34” for Karl Wurster, Markneukirchen, measuring 20 mm in diameter, missing its needle, in fair condition.

13. A Reichsnährstand (RNST) membership badge, constructed of silvered and gilded bronze, vertical pinback, the reverse maker marked “DESCHLER U. S., MÜNCHEN”, measuring 17 mm (w) x 20 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.

14. A veteran’s visor cap insignia, constructed of silvered and patinated bronze, unmarked, measuring 20 mm in diameter, in very fine condition.

15. Two Kriegsmarine shoulder board cyphers, including one for a Teletypist, constructed of gilded zink, the reverse retaining both attachment prongs, unmarked, measuring 24 mm (w) x 29 mm (h), in very fine condition, and the remnants of an Artillery Mechanic cypher, constructed of gilded zink, unmarked, measuring 20 mm (w) x 20 mm (h), broken in half, in poor condition.

16. An art deco swastika brooch, constructed of 14k Gold with 13 studs, affixed to a safety pin-style attachment, the reverse marked “14K” with an illegible maker’s mark, weighing 2.2 grams, in extremely fine condition.

17. A large art deco swastika brooch, constructed of silver with enamels and hand-painted designs, horziontal pinback, the reverse marked “STERLING” for 925 content, measuring 18.88 mm (w) x 19.08 mm (h), weighing 2.8 grams, in extremely fine condition.

18. A University of Toronto Manager’s pendant, constructed of silver, on loop for suspension, the reverse marked “STERLING” for 925 content, measuring 12.24 mm (w) x 18.89 mm (h), weighing 1.6 grams, in extremely fine condition.
