(Allgemeiner Deutscher Hebammen Verband Mitgliedsabzeichen). Constructed of gilded bronze, the obverse consisting of a central wite enemaled Genea Cross featuring a gilt inset medallion bearing a female figure clutching an infant, flanked by gilt initials “RH” (REICHS-HEBAMMEN), and above a mobile swastika, set within a blue enameled ring bearing a gilt inscription of “IM DIENSTE DER ZUKUNFT UNSERES VOLKES” (“IN SERVICE FOR THE FUTURE OF OUR PEOPLE”), the reverse with a clip hinge and horizontal pinback meeting a rounded catch, unmarked, measuring 38 mm in diameter, with some flecking of enamels evident, in near extremely fine condition.
