(Sturmabteilung Gürtel mit Schnalle). A mis-matched Sturmabteilung (SA) belt and buckle, the former constructed of pressed black leather, with one end completing in an integral magnetic metal clip, the opposite end affixed with the buckle’s claws to a separated brown leather tongue perforated with seven sets of dual eyelets for an adjustable fit, bearing a reverse black unit dedication of “JR 16” for Infanterie-Regiment 16 indicating a replacement piece harvested from a Heer uniform, otherwise unmarked, measuring 45 mm (w) x 850 mm (l), with moderate material fatigue evident, in fair condition; the buckle constructed of bronze, the obverse bearing a raised SA-style German national eagle clutching a wreathed sunwheel-style swastika, within a ribbed ring bearing oak leaf branches, the reverse with a loop and swivel attachment claws unmarked, measuring 62 mm (w) x 48 mm (h), with minor scratching and oxidation evident, in very fine condition.
