A Gold Maltese cross, with blue-enamelled cross arms bordered in white enamel, in the corners of the cross are lozenges with the blue and white arms of Bavaria, the obverse centre presents the letter T constructed of Brilliants over a field of white and green enamels, the reverse centre presents the date 1827, circumscribed by the motto UNSER LEBEN SEY GLAUBE AN DAS EWIGE (OUR LIFE IS FAITH IN ETERNITY), maker marked with initials EQ for Eduard Quellhorst, München, measuring 41.55 mm (w) x 67.95 mm (h - inclusive of crown), on a ladies ribbon, slight chipping on reverse of cross, and in extremely fine condition.
