Germany, Kriegsmarine. An Officer’s Breast Eagle

(Kriegsmarine Brustadler). Constructed of dark navy blue wool, the obverse bearing a machine-embroidered gold bullion wire Wehrmacht eagle, the reverse retaining a partially-intact black paper liner, unmarked, measuring 100 mm (w) x 42 mm (h), with some mothing evident to the wool, in very fine condition.
