Germany, NSDAP. A 10-Year Long Service Decoration, by Förster & Barth

(Dienstauszeichnung der NSDAP in Bronze für 10 Jahre). Constructed of bronzed aluminum, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, consisting of a Cross Pattée with ribbed arms joined together through the quadrants by stylized sun rays, the obverse bearing a central raised German national eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, set within a circular oak leaf wreath, the reverse bearing a central wreathed inscription of “TREUE DIENSTE FÜR FÜHRER UND VOLK” (“FAITHFUL SERVICE FOR FÜHRER AND PEOPLE”), the suspension loop maker marked with Präsidialkanzlei code “10” for Förster & Barth, Pforzheim, measuring 42.90 mm (w) x 47.26 mm (h), weighing 14.2 grams, in near mint condition.
