Germany, Kriegsmarine. A High Seas Fleet Badge, by Schwerin

(Flottenkriegsabzeichen). Constructed gilded and silvered tombak, the obverse consisting of an oval oak leaf wreath, join together at the bottom by ribbon, topped by a Kriegmsarine eagle clutching a mobile swastika, around a frontal depiction of a battleship cutting through waves, the reverse with a block hinge and banjo-style pinback meeting a flat wire catch, designer marked “ADOLF BOCK” and maker marked “SCHWERIN, BERLIN”, measuring 43.90 mm (w) x 56.98 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.
