A superb commemorative banner, constructed of padded maroon rayon and fully trimmed with an intricate golden-yellow threaded fringe, topped along the hoist edge with three ribbons presenting in a traditional Spanish red and yellow tricolour, in turn securing in place an aluminum bar with a golden-yellow threaded hanger, the obverse bearing a screen-printed grey plaque bearing the text of Francisco Franco’s last testament, issued to the public on the occasion of his death on 20 November 1975, set within an arabesque border, surrounded by the coats of arms of Spain, the Falange Movement, and Franco’s personal shield, the reverse bearing a large golden-yellow, Roman-inspired “Victor” symbol, with a maker’s mark and reproduction prohibition clause at the upper right corner, measuring 35 cm (w) x 43.5 cm (h) (inclusive of fringe and suspension ribbons), in extremely fine condition.
