Italy, Kingdom. A China Campaign Medal 1900-1901 with Clasp

(Medaglia Commemorativi della campagne in estremo oriente, Cina 1900-1901). Instituted in 1901. 1 Clasp - CINA 1900-1901. In bronze, engraver marked "REGIA ZECCA" on the obverse, measuring 31.5 mm (w) x 35.5 mm (h) inclusive of its integral suspension, edge nicks, light contact and spotting overall, clasp in silver affixed to its original ribbon, better than very fine.

Footnote: The China Campaign Medal was Instituted on June 23, 1901 by Royal Decree no. 338 and awarded to Royal Navy and Army soldiers and to civilians for war operations in China from May 30, 1900 to December 31, 1901 during the Boxer Rebellion.
